Bridal Clutches We Love

As women, after we find the outfit we’re used to spicing it up with the perfect accessories. The same is true for your wedding gown. This is why our brides often ask us, “Do I need to carry a purse on my wedding day?”  The answer is yes AND no. Here’s why. Let’s be clear, you won’t need to be carrying around a cross body over your gown during your wedding festivities. But there are a few important, and often looked over, reasons why we do recommend at least purchasing a clutch for the big day.

First is You’ll need a clutch because it makes for an amazingly detailed shot. But also, when you do the money dance, what better place to put your money than in the five-star clutch you bought specifically for your wedding? Another reason is the after party! Many of our brides have gone out or had a small after party AFTER reception. This is totally common. So why not join the party in style with your clutch in hand. Finally and in case your maid of honor hasn’t thought of this already, you’ll need a clutch to keep things like phone, room key, lipstick, blotting papers, and gum/mints all in one place.

Below is a rundown on two of our absolute favorite clutches for brides. The first is Saint Laurent and can be used even after the wedding. Tip: when convincing your husband to add this to the wedding purchases, just say it’s reusable, and won’t be for one day only. You can find this clutch here.

The second is wedding specific, but if you get it early enough, you can wear it for all your wedding festivities like your engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party and for the day of the wedding. This bridal clutch is by Show Me Your MuMu and you can find it here!

Will you be rocking a clutch on your wedding day? Is it any of these? If not, let us know where you got yours from. We’re always excited to add new bridal related designers to our list.
