2017 Engagement Ring Trends

We’re not going to pretend like we don’t know the drill when it comes to engagement rings. And fellas, if you’re reading, we’ll fill you in. Most women know exactly what they want. They can confidently tell you what shape they prefer, what size they prefer and why they prefer it. And that’s not it, they’ll have picture examples saved on their Pinterest boards or now, Instagram bookmarks.

There are plenty options out there for our non-traditional brides looking for a unique engagement ring. Our top three of 2017 are mix matching metals, colored stones and stackable bands. You see simple solitaire engagement rings every day, and although they may be a classic choice, once you see these beauties, you’re likely going to want to step out of the box. Scroll down to find a rundown on what’s hot right now in bridal jewelry.

1. Mix-match metal

We’re here to debunk the myth that mixing metals is a no-no when it comes to engagement rings. Aside from just loving to mix metals in general, it adds a unique look. Not to mention, mixing metals in your engagement ring opens the door for endless accessorizing opportunities.

This ring is perfect for the bride, who wants to remain classic, but still set herself apart from the others.

2. Colored center stone

When Kate Middleton was proposed to with that gorgeous sapphire ring, she gave the rest of the world the go-ahead to explore when it comes to subbing a colored stone for a  diamond. Here’s a color pallet we have major heart eyes for and would love to see on an engagement ring.

Pink is the color of romance, so this ring is perfect for a bride who is feminine and has a knack for all things romance.

3. Stackable wedding bands

Just in general, we’re obsessed with the stacking rings. So when you combine that with an engagement ring, it’s no surprise that we’re here for that too! We especially love stacking wedding bands because it gives the opportunity to continuously add to the collection on momentous occasions like a push present or anniversary.

Stack-ables are for the bride who likes to switch things up every now and then. Or if you’re just looking to take your left finger up a couple notches, or carats.

We’re loving these trends, because they are each just the right amount of classic and unique mixed in one. If you’re rocking one of these styles we want to see–next time you post, use the hashtag #BTSRingSelfie and show us!

XOXO,

BTS
