Wedding Trends of 2017

2017 is nearing its end and we’re compiling some of the top wedding trends of 2017. Looking back, we’ve incorporated all of these trends into our coordination and design of weddings. Without further ado, here are the top wedding trends of 2017.

Marble accents

Marble, marble, marble! It’s everywhere. Not to mention my Lume case. But seriously. Marble is very classic. It adds a timeless and elegant feel to your wedding.

Organic floral

We love organic flora! It’s a subtle new trend that we hope to see more and more. Organic floral is when the floral arrangements aren’t too structured and give more of a whimsical feel. Take a look at some of these organic floral arrangements from our Colorado wedding done right.

Mid-century modern decor: lounge furniture, chairs, table accents

It’s all about the vibe. Having a lounge furniture area for your guest to mingle is key. It gives your guests a place to hang out aside from their dinner table and the dance floor. Pulled from our styled shoot is mid-century modern decor, chairs and table accents put to use.

Risqué dress selections: lace, high slits, plunging necklines, low backs

The epitome of risque is Berta. Recently at #NYBFW Muse by Berta showed us why this trend has lasted throughout 2017 and likely 2018 as well.

Advancements in men’s attire: incorporation of patterns and color

We’re totally here for this trend. So many times you see the groom in a traditional black tuxedo. While this classic look will never go out of style, we love to see men add a pop of color to their attire. After all, this day is about them too. So they should dress like it!

Which of these trends was your favorite this year? Which do you think will last until next year and which won’t. Let us know in the comments!
