Ladies, today we’re recapping Kaley Cuoco’s wedding, simply because we are unapologetically obsessed! If you’ve scrolled through Instagram and stumbled on her wedding pictures, we’re positive you cannot blame us for being obsessed. Let us be clear, this is not because we’re fangirls. There’s rhyme to our reason, we promise. Below is a list of reasons why we’re absolutely in love.

She didn’t have a bouquet.

She didn’t have a bouquet. Ok, this is absolutely untraditional, but we’re so here for it! Untraditional is a point we’d like to touch on briefly before we go to the next point of admiration. BE YOU! If you’re not a bouquet kinda gal, then ditch the bouquet! Your wedding day should be 100% about you. Never feel obligated to do a certain thing because everyone else does.

Their wedding was at a horse ranch and they included animals.

Their wedding was at a horse ranch and they included animals. Though we’re not huge fans of animals, that doesn’t mean we would deter any bride from incorporating them into their wedding. Kaley and her husband did what they loved by incorporating animals and we’re so here for it!

Horseshoe ceremony decor

Horseshoe ceremony decor. Sticking with the themes of horses. The ceremony decor was pampas grass put beautifully together in the shape of a horseshoe. Um, can you say heart-eye emoji?? We loved this!

The vows!

The vows. Admittedly, we were crying. Kaley said,

I’d go to my phone, and I’d go to my notes, and I tried and I couldn’t write anything,” she said. “I didn’t really understand why because there really were not enough words to describe how I actually, truly feel about you.”

How beautiful were they! Also, cool piece of information–her sister officiated the wedding. What a cool way to incorporate someone you love.

Processional goals.

Processional goals. The singer for the processional was I N C R E D I B L E ! Don’t believe us? Take a listen for yourself. You can find more of Gin Wigmore here.

It suffices to say, we were blown away by this wedding and we knew you’d be too, which is why we shared it with you. What was your favorite part of Kaley’s wedding and which part would you incorporate into your big day? Let us know in the comments.

Ladies, summer is here and so are its colors. During the months of June and July, I’m sure you’ve noticed an incredible amount of weddings on your timeline. That’s because it’s wedding season. If you’re a bride, that means it’s also the perfect time to capitalize on the style of dress your bridesmaids wear.

If you’re having a summer wedding and are looking into bridesmaid dress color options, we’ve got you covered. Yellow has been on our radar for some time now, and we have yet to see a bride use it as her bridesmaid dress color. We’ll be honest, yellow is definitely a bold, statement color. But as you may know, we love when brides think out of the box with their wedding, especially when it comes to styling. What we love more is helping you with those bridal styling needs. This is why we compiled a list of our favorite yellow dresses for bridesmaids, perfect for a summer or spring wedding.

First up is an ACME dress, Privacy Please. You can find this beautiful number at Revolve. If flowy and boho is your thing, this dress is perfect for you.

Second is X NAVEN MARISSA dress NBD. You can also find this at Revolve. We’re obsessed with the slit and the cutout. It’s still very sexy but also covered up in the right places. We can totally see this gown worn at a modern, beach hotel wedding.

Third on our radar is from Fame and Partners. It is the Elisa Dress. What we love most about the Elisa dress is the high neckline and open back. High necklines are in, so stay on trend and incorporate it into your bridesmaid look.

Fourth on our list is the Verbena Dress from Reformation. It’s so boho. If you’re a bride that frequents Free People, this gown is perfect for your style. Not to mention, the off-the-shoulder, floor length dress with a ruffle-edged, slight sweetheart neckline will look great on your bridesmaids.

The final dress is also from Reformation, the Rosey Dress. This is a floor length wrap dress with a deep v neckline, is a statement. Wrap dresses are always flattering, so your bridesmaids will appreciate you for this one. We promise!

Many of these yellow gowns live in the same color pallet. What does this mean? Mixing and matching these gowns isn’t a bad idea Let us know in the comments which dress is your favorite! Be sure to email us at info@btseventmanagement.com for bridal styling inquiries.

Basics have been slowly making a comeback. Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian made basic loungewear a thing. And now the basic trend has made its way over to bridal. But we’re not thanking Kylie or Kim for this new trend. We’re thanking the Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.

We called it back in May. We said, “whatever Meghan Markle wore for her wedding, would be trendsetting in bridal.: And her gowns have done just that. Rocking two of the most beautifully simple gowns, designers have taken note, and–for the first time ever–we’re here for something basic. That being said, we’re recapping three of our favorite bridal designers, who took a page from Meghan Markle’s book in their 2018 collections.

Pronovias

First Pronovias and their EOL collection. You’ll find gowns that are beautiful because they are simple. This Pronovias gown has a crossed beaded fringe on the back, giving off a feeling of elegance and sensuality. The bateau neckline takes a page from Meghan Markle’s book adding that little bit of sophistication.

Liancarlo Design

Next, is Liancarlo Design. This Liancarlo gown gives a few nods to Meghan’s second gown. We’re obsessed with its simplicity. This matte crepe high-neck accentuates the shoulders in the same way Meghan’s dress did. It has that fitted, silk component that adds just the right amount of sexy. Are you here for this Liancarlo Design? We totally are.

Pnina Tornai

And finally, Pnina Tornai. They too have a couple gowns similar to Meghan’s second gown. The gown below, which is part of the Love by Pnina Tornai collection, is for a bride that loves that fitted silk look, but also looking to show a bit more skin. We’re in love with this deep v in the front. Who else is here for this sexier look?

Brides, if you’re shopping for a wedding gown, simple is on trend. When you go simple, we promise, your children will look back and won’t turn their nose up to your dated dress, because it’s simplicity allows it to last a lifetime. Are you on the hunt for a Meghan Markle look-alike? Need help finding something perfect for you? If so, send us an email at info@btseventmanagement.com, we’d love to help you find your perfect gown.

On this week’s episode of the She Said Yes Podcast, we’re talking with Denys  Berestyuk, owner, and founder of the Miss to Mrs. Box, a bridal box subscription. This box, ladies, is the next best thing. Seriously. There’s literally nothing like it. It’s perfect for brides. This box is also our opportunity to help a sista out and plug this as the perfect gift a bridesmaid could give her bride! *hint, hint*

If you listen, to Episode 5 The Subscription Box Every Bride Must Have, you’ll hear us talk about bridal subscription boxes and tips for wedding dress shopping. Before we get to our recap of this week’s episode, be sure to follow us on Instagram, subscribe to our channel, and show us some love in the iTunes reviews.

Now back to why you are here. The best bridal subscription box in the game–Miss to Mrs. Box. The coolest part about the subscription box is that there is a theme for each step of the engagement process. Our favorite box is the Let’s Plan This box. It’s our favorite because it’s the first box you get and gets you right in the ‘I’m the Bride’ mood. Which is totally the mood you should be rockin’ the moment you put that ring on. For a more information on the themes, be sure to tune in to Episode 5. We bet there are a couple themes you could never have guessed would be included!

Finally, we touch on wedding dress shopping. Just like everything wedding planning related, there are some logistics you need to know before even stepping into a bridal boutique. While we won’t give away all the logistics here, below are some topics to consider, tune in to find out exactly why!

  • Budget
  • Who is invited
  • How much research to do
  • How much trust to put in the bridal stylist
  • Keep in mind venue, season, design
  • Trends
  • When to buy

Brides before we send you off, on SSYP we talk about Paris Hilton’s wedding. Did you hear the Paris Hilton’s wedding may be televised? We’re so here for this. She is, arguably, a reality TV revolutionary. Maybe we can call this the Royal Reality TV Wedding? We can even host a watch party! Listen to the podcast to hear our thoughts on the details on this Royal Reality TV Wedding speculation, and comment if you’ll come to our watch party.

XOXO,

BTS

On this week’s episode of the She Said Yes Podcast, we’re talking about the first thing you think about after getting engaged–popping the question to your bridesmaids. We were honored to have Curissa, soon-to-be Thompson, on the show to give us a rundown on how she popped the question to her best gal pals.

We know all too well that the decision on who to include in your bridal party can be a stressful one. As always, we want to make your life a little easier by helping you out with the part of the process where you ask your bridesmaids.

But before we get to our recap of what you should keep in mind when popping the question, be sure to follow us on Instagram, subscribe to our channel, and show us some love in the iTunes reviews.

As some of you may know, Curissa’s bridesmaid proposal went viral. For those of you who don’t know, check out her Instagram and see the recap, it’s adorable. Because everyone here at BTS was so obsessed with the way she popped the question, we brought her on the show to share the four things to consider when planning your bridesmaid proposal. Because we can’t spill all the beans here, you’ll have to listen to hear just how Curissa incorporated these four things into her bridesmaid proposal. We don’t like to leave you hanging, so in the meantime, these are the four things to keep in mind when popping the question:

  1. Find a theme and get creative.
  2. Figure out the element of surprise.
  3. Personalize the proposal. Let everyone know why you want them in the bridal party.
  4. Document the moment with a photographer or videographer.

Brides, before we send you off, here’s one tidbit of advice. Make this proposal about your bridesmaids. Thank them in advance for being part of your day and part of this huge journey you’re about to embark on. The supportive role these ladies will take on is a huge one, so helping them realize this will be beneficial to you and your sanity in the long run.

After you listen, let us know what you think about this week’s episode in the comments and what kind of proposal inspiration this episode gave you.

XOXO,

BTS

NYBFW Recap: Hermione De Paula Spring 2019 Collection

As I’m sure you’ve seen on our social media, this past weekend, we’ve experienced major New York Bridal Fashion Week FOMO (fear of missing out). Although we always attend NYBFW during the Fall, we can’t help but want to be part of the festivities in April for the Spring collections. They’re all absolutely gorgeous.

Today we’re recapping the Hermione De Paula Spring 2019 bridal and evening wear collection, ‘Abeona’s Garden’. We promise, you’ll love it as much as we do.

The ‘Abeona’s Garden’ collection is inspired by the Roman goddess, Abeona. She is the protector of travelers starting out on new journeys, children as they take their first steps and everyone who embraces the opportunity to explore the unknown. Take a look at some of these to-die-for gowns and see how the floral prints intertwine with exquisite embroidery. These gowns scream Spring. Make sure to let us know in the comments which one is your favorite.
