022_DBG__AES2571 We were so happy to be a part of this beautiful wedding that took place at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.  This wedding was held in an area of Desert Botanical Gardens called the Steele Herb Garden.  Being as the venue itself is so stunningly beautiful with a natural desert habitat, it didn’t need much to really complete the look and make it the perfect setting for this incredible wedding.  Below, we really focus on the detail in the decor for this wedding. The couple used a vintage dresser as their unity candle for ceremony.  They also used a vintage oriental rug to stand on.  We love this detail, it is just the right touch to really highlight the bride and groom, even more than they already are.  We had Christian from Classic Party Rental construct the actual arbor for the bride and groom with two different colors of drape.  Flower Bar, who was the florist for the wedding, did a beautiful job of really pulling in the bride’s vision by incorporating greenery and fresh herbs into her arrangements, in honor of the Steele Herb Garden.  The bride’s main request for the design of her wedding was to compliment the scenery of the venue with out overpowering it. After the ceremony took place, guests moved on to cocktail hour.  During this time, the ceremony area was flipped and turned into the reception space.  We used the draping as the backdrop for the couple’s sweetheart table.  Guests snacked on appetizers and enjoyed refreshing drinks during this time.  A big focal point of cocktail hour was the cake.  It was made by Pixy Cakes and was set out on another vintage dresser.  Flower Bar added the perfect greenery touches to the wedding cake, which sat beside a really neat groom’s cake.
