This year has just flown by and we can not believe its already May. Where has the time gone? It has been an incredible Spring Wedding Season for BTS Event Management and we are looking forward to an even better Fall Wedding Season. But before fall comes too soon lets talk about all the fall wedding trends we can not get enough of.
Colors
The colors Rose Quartz and Serenity with beautiful metallic accents are going to be very popular this fall, but we’re also anticipating seeing pops of jewel tones. Think deep burgundy, rich bold purples and bold navy blues. But we have to admit that our favorite trend is the pops of color we are anticipating seeing in everyones flower bouquets. For sometime colors like white and nude have been popular, so it will be so fun for us wedding planners to see some bright and bold color changes.
Flowers
No more perfectly designed flower arrangements this fall, instead “just picked” or “wild looking” is in. Tabletop arrangements are heading in the direction of potted plants. Think succulents, leafy branches, ivy, and eucalyptus.
Design
One of our absolute favorite trends this year is the idea that instead of designing out (width aka using more space), couples are opting for vertical desgin. Whether its hanging greenery or lights this trend is totally going to add another beautiful dimension to wedding design. Couples are also opting for a less over the top design and instead choosing design that has a very serene and peaceful look to it.
Fashion Trends
We have yet to see one cohesive trend, but we have our favorites of course. Haha! One of our favorites is the “illusion” dress. Dresses that give the illusion of showing skin but instead have a nude fabric underneath. It’s a fun but still classy look. We can not get enough of the 3D floral trend as well. No longer just about decor, we are seeing it on a lot of dresses and when done right it is absolutely beautiful. Ps. We hear patterned dresses are on the rise. Be on the look out for that trend as well.
Cake Trends
Forget all about huge elaborate cakes. Couples are opting for smaller wedding cakes and offering tons of other fun desert options.
Food
Food is becoming such a integral part of weddings these days. And this fall its all about the creativity. Think craft beer, coffee bars, build your own taco, and even BBQ stations. Of course we are a little partial to the taco station. Haha.
As wedding planners we get a front row seat to all the trends in real life and we can not wait to watch our fall weddings unfold and see these trends come to life.
