Chris and I just sent out our Save the Dates! How exciting! Seems like it is just another step in the process but to me surprisingly, it is pretty exciting. I enlisted one of my bridesmaids and best friends, Erin to help me create them. Erin is an Art Director for a ad agency in Philadelphia and is also starting her own Photography and Graphic Design company, Grace & Ardor Co.. Of course, I had no other thought than to use her great skills and creativity. She gets me, my style and what I am looking for really well!
Traditionally, Save the Dates go out anywhere between the 8-10 month mark prior to your wedding day. Let’s put it this way, when I was talking to my family this past weekend, they were questioning whether or not this was really happening. Don’t worry! Everyone received them just at the 8 month mark. Talk about procrastination!
Here are some design ideas that I liked:
I have to say though, the best part to sending these out is definitely the excitement of the guests sending you a note saying: “I got your save the date!!” I really feel like they are just as excited for the day as I am. 🙂
