Calling all jet setter brides with a passion for modern spaces, a healthy lifestyle, and treating yourself. It’s Alex here from BTS and I’m about to give you the inside scoop on our absolutely magical experience at the Viceroy Los Cabos. Which, by the way, felt like a futuristic water world.
The moment you step foot on this ethereal architectural masterpiece, you know you’re in for VIP treatment. Girl, you know you deserve only the best! The Viceroy is anything but basic. The entire staff was there to welcome us and even greeted us by name! That’s major points in our book for having studied their clients.
After a deliciously refreshing mocktail upon our arrival, we made our way to our room. The bellman relieved us of our luggage and escorted us to our rooms. Totally normal, I know, but when I made my way inside my room my jaw just dropped. In the room, was a picture of my daughter, Penelope, as well as a stuffed animal for her.
There was also a meat and cheese board, and a Viceroy tote bag accompanied by a note from Martin, the hotel’s general manager. The check-in was, clearly, an experience of its own.
To say we were impressed is an understatement. The bride was treated like the total queen she is! Pictures of her and her fiancé, as well as her engagement video, were playing upon her arrival. It was such a personalized experience we’re ecstatic she got to be a part of.
After we were all settled in, we went on a tour where we were offered drinks including shaved ice and cotton candy! By dinner time, we were dying of curiosity to see what kind of special experience we would be treated to considering the check-in process was so attentive! Food by itself is an adventure for your taste buds but the Viceroy took it to a whole other level. We had a progressive dinner where basically we started in one restaurant, moved to another for the main course, and finished with an in-room dessert experience with a mini cake. Let’s be honest ladies, who doesn’t want to run off and eat cake in bed once the staff is gone?
When you travel often, you know how hard it can be to make all the places you stay at feel “homey.” Fortunately, the Viceroy staff made for such a welcoming experience throughout the stay. It absolutely knocked our socks off! In all of our time experiencing venue tours, we never had a team go above and beyond like this. It made us even more excited to go to other Viceroy properties.
