NYBFW: Anne Barge

So far we’ve recapped our shows at Maria Farbinni and Theia. Next up is Anne Barge’s Fall 2018 collection. On day two, we attended the Anne Barge show. The Anne Barge Fall 2018 collection is an interpretation of nature’s midnight garden. An escape into fanciful garden that inspires all things feminine – a delicate tracery of ribbons and bows, a whisper of pink, dreamy layers of floral lace.

The gowns at this show were an absolute dream. It’s no wonder the Anne Barge philosophy is simple, “Good design is timeless”. Because, timeless it was. Each model had a wept back ponytails held by a ribbon and a darker lip for a really cool nineties accent. We were totally here for these whimsical vibes. Here’s our top three from the Anne Barge Fall 2018 collection:

Fashion Week top 3

Gowns aside, what stood out the most was the runway. The setup wasn’t your typical set up. You know, the runway that is just a straight ahead where the models walk from one side of the room to the next. This was different. With two rooms combined into one, the models circled each room, showcasing the designs to everyone in the audience. There was not one bad seat in the house .

You’ve seen our top three. But we’d love to know your favorite gowns from Anne Barge’s Fall 2018 Collection. If you’re a bride looking for a dress, which would you walk down the isle in? Make sure to let us know in the comments.
