New York Bridal Fashion Week Fall ’20 Collection

Wow. We are still catching up on sleep, work and trying to get our minds right from all the amazingness that we saw last week at New York bridal fashion week but we just can’t seem to shake it. New York in itself, is a one of a kind city. Full of dreams, lights, and people and for us, we attend for all of that, and of course, for the dresses.

 Year 3 for BTS

This year, marks our third year of attending shows, meeting designers, and drooling over elegance at its finest. We had a jam packed weekend of Runway shows and private viewings of our most favorite designers and some we never even knew before. None the less, it was an experience we will never forget and always remember.  Not to mention, we stayed at one of our favorite hotels, Dream Downtown, and had some amazing food experiences as well. (Alex and Storm love food, by the way).

The Shows:

Berta, Galia, Pronovias, Pnina and Julie Vino– you all know they are some of our favorites and boy, they did not disappoint.

This season was definitely a season of sophistication and bringing back tradition. We saw a lot of ball gowns and a lot of bows. Berta, took the conservative route and definitely scaled back on the sexy sheer look. Pnina, while typically known for her crystals and bling, brought lace, satin and bows to the show. THE BOWS! Oh how obsessed we are with the bows. Check out some of our favorite looks that we captured right from the runway.  We are in love!

One designer that hit our photo albums this weekend that completely blew us away was Tel Aviv designers, Yael Eisenberg and Heli Kalkstein, also known as Eisen Stein. These two met each other in design school and after a short 4 month design process, had created their first bridal line in 2011.

To say their dresses are gorgeous is simply an understatement. The vision the pair has, coupled with the most high quality materials of silk, lace, beading and Swarovski crystals really had our jaws drop.  One dress, was a last minute addition that took only days to produce. This dress happened to be our teams favorite. The intricacy and detail was out of this world and oh my, it was a stunner.

Any-who! To say our expectations were met, is an understatement. We had the best time, in the best city doing the best things. Wanna hear more or see more from our experience, head over to our Instagram page and check out our highlights!!

BTS Event Management, Scottsdale Wedding Planner

When we were approached recently by Kelly from Ben and Kelly Photography to write a blog, it made most sense.  She wanted us to blog about the importance of having a photo list.  Now, most of you might be like, what is a photo list and so I will explain.  When planning your wedding and all the details that are included, the very last thing that the Bride or Groom thinks about is what photos they want to make sure are captured and with who – isn’t that the photographers job?  Well yes, but they don’t know who your great grandmother is and what Aunt Suzie or Uncle Jim look like.   As wedding planners, and essentially bystanders of the entire process – we see it becoming more and more important to help with the flow of the day.

Screen Shot 2015-07-23 at 11.46.36 PMEarly last week, BizBash, a pioneer company in our event industry, released a super informative blog which was titled 25 Event Pros You Should Be Following on Instagram.  Just like the title says, they listed their opinion for the 25 most influential Instagram accounts in the event industry.  As wedding planners, we were so excited to read more.  We thought this was so informative and decided we wanted to share our very own list of Instagram inspirations with all of you 🙂 These are the masterminds behind some really trend setting and unique work that we look forward to seeing every day!

Recently, one of the newest venues in Phoenix, Chateau Luxe, invited us to design a styled shoot for some of their marketing material.  We were honored and super excited to get started on this fun project.  We were able to choose which location in the venue we wanted to design and had creative reign on just about everything.

As you may know, we are a bit social media obsessed.  Since we are Scottsdale based wedding planners, located in one of the hottest states in the country (Arizona), our summer months really slow down when it comes to wedding planning.  There aren’t too many people who want to get married in 110 degree weather.  During this time, we work on getting our Fall weddings into shape, spring cleaning the office, and admiring the rest of the country’s amazing weddings and wedding photography through Instagram.
