As the Fall wedding season gets closer and closer, we can’t help but get more and more excited to see all the beauty it brings! One thing we think we’ll be seeing quite a bit of is jewel tones. Deep, rich, romantic, beautiful colors in every aspect. Paired with gold metallic accents, things are going to be stunning! This year has just flown by and we can not believe its already May. Where has the time gone? It has been an incredible Spring Wedding Season for BTS Event Management and we are looking forward to an even better Fall Wedding Season. But before fall comes too soon lets talk about all the fall wedding trends we can not get enough of.
Last week Pantone announced their color of the year, and for the first time ever they announced not only one, but two amazing colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity. One thing we love about the colors is that while they are amazing individually, they are even better paired together! Like Leatrice Eiseman from Pantone said,
During the wedding planning process there are so many decisions to be made that a point comes where many brides reach their decision making limit. The venue is booked, the guest list is narrowed down, and of course the perfect dress is picked out…then there’s a great big choice that needs to be made, what’s for dinner?
As wedding planners, we have noticed there are two very distinct types of brides, the ones who have had their wedding all planned out on Pinterest since before they got engaged and then the polar opposite who has had no interest in using Pinterest for anything wedding related.
Fall, one of the most popular times of the year to get married (well at least out here in Arizona). Our wedding planning schedule is usually rather hectic during the October/November months. The weekends in these months tend to book up quickly and pretty far in advance. A lot of brides absolutely love the idea of decorating their wedding for Fall and as wedding planners, we love creating new and unique Fall Wedding designs. We’ve all seen the traditional sunflower, wheat grass, and orange pumpkin wedding decor, which is lovely, but there are many other ways to design your Fall Wedding. We want to show you a couple recent creations we have put together. Check out the design boards below:
Men’s fashion has recently become all the rage. Men no longer are limited with their wedding fashion options, they now have tons of choices when it comes to formal attire. We first started seeing men care more about what they would be wearing around the time when different options started to become available for them. As wedding planners, when we would meet with our couples and discuss the guys’ attire, we began to see these fashion options expanding with the use of trendy patterned or colored socks. We then started noticing a couple different options in tux and suit color choices, tan being one of the first alternatives to traditional black, with grey shortly following. Recently, navy blue has hit the men’s formal attire fashion scene in a huge way and even more recent, the ever so popular burgundy color has made it’s way into men’s suites. We are so impressed with the variations and absolutely love working with the grooms and groomsmen who get just as excited about what they will be wearing on their wedding day as their bride does:) Check out one of our recent grooms, who sported an iridescent burgundy suit. His look was complimented by guests so much throughout the evening, almost just as much as his stunning bride’s was:
Fresh floral necklaces and other floral accents have become a unique and popular trend these days. Now, we all know about Hawaiian Leis but, this doesn’t even begin to compare to the many different ways flowers can be used as accessories for your wedding day. As wedding planners, it is our job to keep up with the latest and greatest in the wedding world, but to be honest, we didn’t know much about these styles until recently! Once we started looking into them more, we feel in love! If done the right way, this could be a perfect way to substitute for a bouquet or even use as an addition to the traditional bouquet. Florists, no doubtably will be up for the challenge to create such unique pieces.
Flower girls are always adorable! There is just something about a tiny little lady in a beautiful dress or gown that just always makes us smile! We love finding the perfect flower girl dresses and accessories for our brides. Lately we have been super drawn to all things blush. The dresses, the sashes, the shoes, the baskets, the crowns, etc… you name it, we love it in blush:) We have a flower girl board on our pinterest page that you should definitely check out, especially if you are in the market for some pretty inspiration for your flower girl attire and accessories. For the last couple of years, when we are in wedding planning and design meetings with our brides and we ask gold or silver, we were almost always hearing gold. We were also seeing a huge trend in eclectic styles where brides are open to mix-matched metallic accents but lately, we are seeing a huge increase in silver. Silver and mirrors to be exact. We love the ever so classic silver touch to an elegant affair and are having a blast creating our new design boards to reflect these looks. Accenting with silver, creates a very timeless and sophisticated feel. It creates a look for your wedding that stands still in time, meaning when you look back at your wedding photos in 20 years, you will not be able to tell exactly which year your wedding took place based on the trends. Silver, ivory and white will always be in style and will never look dated. Here are some beautiful photos we found on Pinterest that perfectly show silver weddings:
