So far we’ve recapped our shows at Maria Farbinni and Theia. Next up is Anne Barge’s Fall 2018 collection. On day two, we attended the Anne Barge show. The Anne Barge Fall 2018 collection is an interpretation of nature’s midnight garden. An escape into fanciful garden that inspires all things feminine – a delicate tracery of ribbons and bows, a whisper of pink, dreamy layers of floral lace.
Creating your wedding guest list is no easy task! What may start off as only close friends and family, can turn into pretty much everyone you have ever worked with, had a drink with, or even talked to. So where do you draw the line? Of course it’s different for everyone, but here’s a few tips we like to give our brides!
This holiday season we have had some pretty incredible weddings that we are still totally obsessing over! If you’re anything like us and have been absolutely loving all of the gorgeous wedding posts that have been filling your Instagram feed and Pinterest pages lately (thank you planners, designers and vendors!) you’re probably considering the ups and downs of having a holiday wedding of your own. Because we love everything wedding planning, and have heard and seen just about everything out there, we’ve put together a little Pros and Cons list with the most common things we hear!
For the last couple of years, when we are in wedding planning and design meetings with our brides and we ask gold or silver, we were almost always hearing gold. We were also seeing a huge trend in eclectic styles where brides are open to mix-matched metallic accents but lately, we are seeing a huge increase in silver. Silver and mirrors to be exact. We love the ever so classic silver touch to an elegant affair and are having a blast creating our new design boards to reflect these looks. Accenting with silver, creates a very timeless and sophisticated feel. It creates a look for your wedding that stands still in time, meaning when you look back at your wedding photos in 20 years, you will not be able to tell exactly which year your wedding took place based on the trends. Silver, ivory and white will always be in style and will never look dated. Here are some beautiful photos we found on Pinterest that perfectly show silver weddings:
