Being a wedding planner in Scottsdale, AZ, we often service couples from all over the country and world. Scottsdale always makes the top ten wedding destination location list because of it’s unique desert landscape, incredible mountain views, and very comfortable weather for about 9 months out of the year. We love working with couples from out of town, when they are planning their weddings out here, but we also really love when we get to work in other parts of the country and world as destination wedding planners. Recently we coordinated and designed a wedding in Hawaii and we have been dying to tell you all about it!

The highlight of our week at NYBFW was hands down, the Muse by Berta private viewing. To set the scene, right when we walked in, we were met with a glass of champagne. If anyone knows us, they know champagne is basically our sparkling water. The viewing was on a high-rise rooftop garden. It was literally straight from a dream. Picture cobblestone bricks, florals, greenery, and breathtaking gowns right in the heart of New York City. The setting went perfectly with the theme–a Sicilian love story.
So far we’ve recapped our shows at Maria Farbinni and Theia. Next up is Anne Barge’s Fall 2018 collection. On day two, we attended the Anne Barge show. The Anne Barge Fall 2018 collection is an interpretation of nature’s midnight garden. An escape into fanciful garden that inspires all things feminine – a delicate tracery of ribbons and bows, a whisper of pink, dreamy layers of floral lace.
Last week, we attended New York Bridal Fashion Week. As bridal stylist, we’re the liaison between brides and their gowns. So it’s important to us that we stay up to date on the bridal trends. In return, we keep our readers and brides up to date as well. That being said and for the next week, we’ll be sharing with you a recap and our top three gowns from each show we attended. First up, Maria Farbinni!
It was all a DREAM….hopefully you are all singing the rest of this Biggie verse because we still are! LOL!! But, seriously, the event we are going to talk about was nothing but an absolute DREAM and we want to recap how this event came to be in Scottsdale, AZ so that you all know what it took to produce such amazingness.
You know what time of the month it is! Yes, time for “What’s in Our Cart.” Welcome back to our monthly blog article where we talk about online must haves from our favorite stores. As many of you probably know, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started last Friday. So it’s no suprise we spent the weekend online shopping! Of course, we overstocked our carts, so we had to share some of our best finds:
Most of the time when we are hired to plan a couple’s wedding, they have an idea of what they want their wedding to look like. Sometimes, these idea’s are super specific, with awesome Pinterest boards that have most definitely been in the works longer than the engagement (it’s ok, we’ll never tell), and other times, we just get a couple great inspo pics and maybe some color swatches to kick things off. Either way, whatever our couples start with, we are always excited to start on a new wedding design project.
You’re engaged. Now what? Create a wedding Pinterest board, duh! I mean how else are you going to keep this wedding thing organized? Ok, so you head over to Pinterest, but now what? How many boards should you have? Should you invite people to your boards? Should your board be public or private? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
At a wedding the first dance is usually a pretty big deal. It’s one of the first things you will do as the new Mr and Mrs, and the attention is all on you. Knowing this, many brides find that choosing the perfect song is no easy task! In hopes of making your song selection a little bit easier, here are some songs that are pretty perfect for the occasion!
