NYBFW: Muse by BERTA

The highlight of our week at NYBFW was hands down, the Muse by Berta private viewing. To set the scene, right when we walked in, we were met with a glass of champagne. If anyone knows us, they know champagne is basically our sparkling water. The viewing was on a high-rise rooftop garden. It was literally straight from a dream. Picture cobblestone bricks, florals, greenery, and breathtaking gowns right in the heart of New York City. The setting went perfectly with the theme–a Sicilian love story.

Oscar’s Fashion; Little Black Dress Edition

While the 88th Academy Awards may mean it’s the end of Award Season, it also means it was the last hoorah of the season for star studded red carpets with gowns we pretty much drool over!  To no surprise, this year brought out some absolutely stunning gowns in just about every color imaginable. Emmys 2015: Going White on the Red Carpet

As you may know, many bridal fashion trends are often inspired by looks seen on the red carpet.  This evening we were gawking over the beautiful gowns seen on many of our favorite celebrities and couldn’t help but notice tons of white.  From two piece sleek suits to trendy cut outs and plunging necklines, we saw it all in white.  We can definitely imagine these looks softened up a bit for bridal fashion and ready for the aisle instead of the red carpet.
