Oh my goodness! Let me tell you about the absolute best bachlorete weekend ever. So, as girls will be girls and running a million different schedules, I wasn’t actually able to have my bachelorette party until 2 weeks before the wedding. There has just been so much going on! But to tell you the truth, I think I would rather have had it closer to the wedding day than further out because of how much fun I was able to have. I would have to admit, I have been super crazy stressed and busy and have been thinking about a million and one different things and the fact that I was able to just let everything go and not worry about one single thing, 2 weeks before the wedding – it was a blessing!

October 10th, 2015 was a big wedding day for BTS Event Management and one that would definitely not disappoint us. We had much to do and many dreams to make come true. One of the weddings that we had this day was at The Phoenician on the Orchid Lawn. It was one of a weeks worth of events for the bride and groom as they practiced their Polish traditions of several parties prior to and after the wedding day. Our main stage though, was on Saturday. The day that they walked down the aisle.
How exciting is it to find out that an all exclusive makeup only shop is opening up in your town by a couple of extremely determined entrepreneurs? As wedding planners, we can answer that question quite easily for you – it’s AMAZING! We are absolutely thrilled for our friends at The Sparkle Bar for not only the grand opening of their business but also for passing SB 1320—a bill that frees Arizona makeup artists to practice their craft without threat of being shut down or fined by the government. Can you say determined? We attended the grand opening of The Sparkle Bar a few weeks ago and it sure was a hit! The entire place was packed with models, bloggers, prospective clients, supporters and many more.
If there is anyone that loves to support a local company here in Phoenix, it is definitely us! Recently, we got the absolute pleasure of meeting with Black Tie Market to talk about their products. Not only did we become instantly obsessed but, we can’t stop raving about them. Black Tie Market is owned and operated by two very lovely ladies, Amber and Nina. When we say lovely ladies, we really mean lovely ladies – they were the sweetest and most humble people we have met in a long time. So, let’s get into their product!
Erica and David are a couple who we had worked with for over a whole year helping to plan their wedding. They came to us with three things that were important to them: food, drinks and music. As far as wedding design and decor, they didn’t have too much in mind at all. Erica, the bride, was sweet and soft spoken. She didn’t have many requests throughout our time working together and was always as laid back as a person could possibly be. The groom, David, really took the lead on the wedding planning details. He created a pinterest board, along with spreadsheets for the guest list and meal choices, and he was always extremely organized and responsive. The two of them really compliment each other well and bring out the best in each other and it certainly was evident on their wedding day!
By now we have all seen the video by the brilliant person who decided to attach a GoPro to a bottle of Fireball and pass it around their wedding. It’s fun, it’s different, it’s perfect! In a world full of selfie sticks and hashtags, incorporating technology into weddings in some way or another has become a necessity. It’s easy to do and the results are incredible!
Here’s a few ways that we here at BTS love!
This past week, we were able to experience something absolutely breathtaking. A place that we only knew of by name and had no real connection to. Those that know of it, know of the beauty and serenity. They know about the peaks and the valley’s, the highs and the lows. The place that I am talking about is none other than Antelope Point Marina – the tourist location of the enormous, man made lake – Lake Powell. First built in 1963, the lake spans over 108,000 square miles in area. We saw less than a quarter of the lake on our visit. IT IS HUGE!!!
Going dress shopping is always fun and exciting, right? Well, yes! But of course it can be super stressful as well. Dress designs, styles, shapes, colors, etc. are limitless and you can try on as many dresses as humanly possible. For me, trying on dresses was very exciting however, I didn’t go into it limiting myself to anything in particular. Naturally, I knew what I felt I would like best, and I also knew what I felt I wouldn’t like at all but, like the shows, planners and stylists say – more times than not, a bride goes into trying on dresses with one thing in mind and ends up loving the complete opposite!
