Erica and David are a couple who we had worked with for over a whole year helping to plan their wedding. They came to us with three things that were important to them: food, drinks and music. As far as wedding design and decor, they didn’t have too much in mind at all. Erica, the bride, was sweet and soft spoken. She didn’t have many requests throughout our time working together and was always as laid back as a person could possibly be. The groom, David, really took the lead on the wedding planning details. He created a pinterest board, along with spreadsheets for the guest list and meal choices, and he was always extremely organized and responsive. The two of them really compliment each other well and bring out the best in each other and it certainly was evident on their wedding day!

Hey there!
Our 2015 wedding season is right around the corner and we are so thrilled to have a busy, busy fall. Make sure you stay tuned for more details about each dream come true, fairy tale event. In the meantime, here is a quick flashback at the great summer that BTS Event Management has had thus far!
This past week, we were able to experience something absolutely breathtaking. A place that we only knew of by name and had no real connection to. Those that know of it, know of the beauty and serenity. They know about the peaks and the valley’s, the highs and the lows. The place that I am talking about is none other than Antelope Point Marina – the tourist location of the enormous, man made lake – Lake Powell. First built in 1963, the lake spans over 108,000 square miles in area. We saw less than a quarter of the lake on our visit. IT IS HUGE!!!
Meeting with a wedding planner can be a little scary and unpredictable at first. Typically, one doesn’t really know how to feel going into the meeting. The initial meeting will always feel more like an interview than anything. The most important part as a bride or groom talking to the planner to be is to feel extremely comfortable knowing that this person can handle one of the most important days in life. From a planner’s perspective, there are a few things that we want to share to help the process go a little easier.
Hair and makeup trends are continually on the rise and it seems as if when one style surfaces, the next is just a day behind. We have absolutely fallen in love over the past 6 months with floral crowns, braids and loose curls as well as the natural and glamourous makeup look. As we get ready for our 2016 wedding seasons, we are fast forwarding through 2015 to check on the newest trends to come. Here is what we have found!

As you may have read from one of our previous posts, accepting the role as a bridesmaid/groomsmen is a pretty big commitment. So, when considering who Chris and I would ask – we really wanted it to be special and not an obligation. Also, we didn’t want to have an extremely large wedding party. I feel like sometimes a large wedding party just gets to be too much and then you don’t really know where to draw the line.
I know it has been a couple of weeks since I have wrote anything about my wedding journey, oops! I am so sorry!! It has been a little crazy trying to figure a few things out but I think we are in the midst of having all of that settled and decided. What I really want to talk to about now is my guest list! It is growing and growing and I don’t know what to do or when to stop.
